This publication examines the conflicts between secrecy and transparency, and it should serve as a useful tool for onshore individuals and legal entities plus their advisors and service providers in their consideration of using offshore corporations, trusts, foundations and banks and in understanding the current legal and regulatory environment that governs such offshore entities. It should also enhance the considerations that should be made in selecting an appropriate offshore jurisdiction.

Ein umfassendes Forschungsprogramm, an dem auch Studenten und Professoren der Universität Educatis beteiligt waren, ist nun abgeschossen und wir als Buch Anfang August beim renommierten Verlag Palgrave auf Englisch veröffentlicht. (www.palgrave.com/PRODUCTS/title.aspx).
Das Buch wird 2008 von der Tecsup für Peru und von Amat Editorial in Barcelona auf Spanisch veröffentlicht, auf Portugiesisch von Booknomics und in Brasilien von Editoria Saraiva sowie 2009 von Pretext auf Russisch.
EURAM 2008 hat das Buch als „the most promisiong management book“ ausgewählt. Mit diesem Werk von Professor Mario Raich, Leiter des Educatis Institut for Strategic Innovation konnte somit auch unsere Universität einen wichtigen Forschungsbeitrag leisten.
